Auvergne ski resorts such as Super-Besse and Le Mont-Dore, as well as the Chastreix resort, are just a few kilometers from the winter campsite, offering pistes for all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you can enjoy the fresh snow and breathtaking panoramas. Ski schools also offer courses for children and adults.
2 – Snowshoeing
For those who prefer a more leisurely approach, snowshoe trekking is an excellent option, which you can practice at the stele 7 km from the campsite near Le Mont Dore. Numerous marked trails let you explore the beauty of snow-covered landscapes while enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. Don’t forget to pack a thermos of hot chocolate!
