Admire the Puy de Dôme and wander around this sleeping volcano, a must-see in the region, as well as the other Auvergne volcanoes (Puy de Côme, Puy de l’Angle, Puy de Barme…).
Then plan nature walks in the unspoilt Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne and hikes in the Monts du Cantal or the Massif du Sancy.
For a swim in nature outside our campsite, head for the banks of the Loire and Lac d’Aydat, a veritable natural swimming pool.
And if you’re in the mood for a little Auvergne culture with the kids, visit the village of Mont-Dore, the village of Saint-Saturnin, the village of Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle or the village of Murol, not forgetting the city of Clermont-Ferrand, with its rich heritage and lava-stone cathedral.
